Irrational Sessions 007

Filed under: General — liam @ 1:14 am

Here comes another episode of Irrational Sessions.

This time, I’m taking this one to in a very very dancy direction. When I was mixing TSOL004 I ran onto a bunch of tracks that I couldn’t fit on that particular set, along with other tracks that came after locking the tracklist. So, since I can’t stay with a surplus of good music, I put them together, along with 2 old tracks, to make this MONSTER of a mix.

As usual, I’M LOVING this new mix. It’s perhaps my most dancy set after TSOL001, to the point I was thinking on making this TSOL005, except I repeated a couple of songs, which totally defeats my intention of always including new songs on that line of mixes.

Here’s the tracklist for those interested:

01 – Mad Eye – Sorrow (Mango pres. Shoreliners Remix)
02 – Paul Webster – Forever Today (Tom Colontonio’s Remix – liam K Dub’s edit)
03 – Henrik Christensen – New Life (Original Mix)
04 – Activa feat. Will Atkinson – Access
05 – Thr3shold and the Visitors – Sektor V (Original Mix – liam K’s NO GUITARS edit)
06 – Daniel Kandi – Promised (Emotional Mix)
07 – Arisen Flame – More than a Feeling (Uplifting Mix)
08 – John O’Callaghan and Giuseppe Ottaviani – Liquid Fire (Temple One Remix)
09 – Protoculture feat. Shannon Hurley – Sun Gone Down (Aly & Fila Remix)
10 – Gary Proud – As One (Original Mix)
11 – Impulsive Drive – Blue Skies (Bjorn Akesson Remix)
12 – Aly & Fila – Rising Sun (Bjorn Akesson Remix)

Windows Media Player 12 – wmplayer.exe or wmpnetwk.exe 100% CPU – FIX

Filed under: Technology — liam @ 8:40 am

I seem to keep running into this problem with every installation of Windows I have, but until recently I figured out exactly what was really happening. First, I’ll give you some background of the issue.

If you’re in an urgency, scroll down to “OMG a Fix!”.

Background

Apparently, WMP12 (and possibly 11, too) is an incredibly stubborn piece of software that *insists* on keeping a Library of all your media, be it pictures, movies, music, anything that it can possibly read. This usually wouldn’t be a problem, as it can keep things organized and centralized in a very annoying and awful nice place, but all that sweet concept ends when it finds media that it cannot recognize, such as corrupted music files, or avi movies encoded by some experimental and very advanced program that only its creator can understand; when this happens, WMP simply goes into brainless mode and stubbornly locks itself trying to read the media, consuming all your CPU for as long as the process is active. Normally, you’d think reading a massive library would take quite some time to do it, except WMP will never succeed, ever (trust me, I’ve left the computer alone for hours to see if it eventually manages to do it).

The best solution for this, would be to check your media files and be sure they’re not corrupted, to be standard compliant, not broken, virus free and other stuff like that, but this is not so simple when you have tons of stuff lying around, specially if you’re someone that works constantly and simultaneously with lots of media.

OMG a FIX!

So, the solution? There seems to be quite a few suggestions. Take this URL for instance, it’s from the Microsoft forums. The tech guys in there suggest disabling a lot of things, or even tell you that your installation is simply badly done so you should reinstall everything. Hell, some even tell you to not have your media on places like Music, Videos and Pictures, but why would we want to do that as a workaround in the first place? Those suggestions are terrible.

My solution, though a workaround still, is a bit less “user friendly”, but it’s a permanent one for as long as your installation stays the same. It involves tweaking a file that seems to be holding the Library data. When this file is locked to not receive data (read-only), WMP stops trying to fill it, and therefor stops to try to index your media. The file in question is called “CurrentDatabase_372.wmdb“, which might be named differently on your system, and is allocated at “C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player” for users on Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

All you gotta do is find it via Windows Explorer, then right click on the file, then choose Properties, and then change the attribute “Read-Only” by marking the checkbox, followed by Apply or OK. I recommend that you either backup the file or delete it and then replace it with a dummy with 0 bytes on it (such as an empty text file by creating a new one in the same directory). Obviously, you should do this when both wmplayer.exe and wmpnetwk.exe are closed. To do this, just goto the Windows Task Manager, then Processes and kill both of them.

The inconvenience? Well, by doing this you’re completely disabling the Media Library for Windows Media Player, and while this may seem like a bad trade-off, for those of us that really do not have a use for it, it’s a completely harmless sacrifice. The Library won’t be able to receive any changes unless you go to that directory and revert the changes so the file is no longer Read-Only.

Also, if this seems like a bad solution for you cause you want to keep your Media Library, you should check the state of your files. The lockout suffered by either of these processes reflects an issue with your media, which doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing anything explicitly wrong, it’s just that WMP is very tricky when it finds something it doesn’t like. This often happens when you hold mp3s in your Music directory, that were encoded by some of the newest (or perhaps strangest) encoders of late, which again it doesn’t mean they’re bad, it’s just that they may be using instructions that WMP doesn’t recognize.

Anyway, hope you find this solution useful. If you got any questions, feel free to drop a comment.

Mix accepted by DI.fm

Filed under: General — liam @ 9:07 am

Great news! My mix, which as of currently I’ve posted here as “A State of Trance”, was accepted to be broadcasted on the amazing online radio station DI.fm.

For those that are new to my website, I used to have a couple of mixes in rotation on DI.fm a long long time ago. Back then, my DJ guise was “Broken Toy”, which I later dropped due to other DJs having the exact same name (bare with me, I’m really BAD with names, my creativity is best spent on mixing :D).

So anyway! The mix will be broadcasted tomorrow Friday, April 30th, under the name of “A Spark of Life“, I decided to give it this name as I intent to have many more sets going by this name in the future (more on this in a future post). The event website is at: http://www.di.fm/calendar/event.php?event=20243

Due to this, I will disable the download of the mix temporarily. I will bring it back after the set has been broadcasted, don’t worry.

So stay tuned tomorrow on DI.fm, there’re 2 more mixes that will come before mine, I’m sure they will be excellent mixes as well.

The fiasco of A State of Trance 450 Bedroom DJ Contest

Filed under: General — liam @ 11:41 am

Well, I guess those that know me saw this coming. This is nothing but a rant, if you don’t wish to read complains, you can close this page. Else, grab some popcorn and read, this will take a BIG while.

So, why am I ranting?

First, some background.

About a month or so ago, a contest was announced on the famous trance radio show, A State of Trance. The contest was open to everyone who wished to submit a mix, of 60 minutes or less, and the winner would have his mix broadcasted in episode 450 of A State of Trance. Simple, right?

So far so good.

When I read about the contest (I’m saying “read”, cause I’ve long stopped listening to ASOT as frequently as I used to) I got all excited with the idea and decided to make my best mix EVER. I really REALLY set my mind to win the contest, not to participate, to WIN. So, I went and grabbed the best tracks I had at the moment, and sat down to mix.

I heard about the contest somewhere in late february, and saw that the deadline to submit the mix was the 21st of March at midnight. Since the deadline was weeks faraway I decided to wait until the last week to submit my set, just in case I found any little mistakes I might wish to fix, and in the process get some feedback from my closest friends.

After 7 or so mixes I made, I finally got to the point where I was completely happy with my mix, so I then decided it was finally time to submit the mix (this was around Monday 15th). After so many listens, and nervously trying to give a brief description of myself (since the contest required you to fill up a question that said “About yourself”) I started to upload my set. To my surprise, I got welcome by a big error that said something along the lines of “Invalid page instruction”, or something like that. This only meant that I may have done something wrong, and that my mix wasn’t being uploaded correctly.

I was confused at first, as I thought I may have taken too long to fill up the “About yourself” portion of the upload, as I know I’m notorious for taking my very sweet time to type stuff. So, I simply went and started over, this time simply copy pasting what I already typed before. But, I was greeted by the same error AGAIN. So definitely the error wasn’t on my end, there was something going on with their servers.

I assumed, initially, that I may have tried to upload my set at a very saturated hour. I thought that maybe there were more DJs uploading their sets at the same time, or perhaps their servers were simply too full. So, I simply waited a few hours to try once more, but the same happened over and over again. At this point I totally got into panic mode, I had only just 6 more days to submit the set, and to my surprise, I wasn’t the only one.

After searching a little, I found out that there were many others having exactly the same issue, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they were having this problem since the contest was announced. Wow!

I tried desperately to get in contact with their tech team, at least to have them aware there was something going on. I sent a few tweets to #ASOT, hoping that someone would read it. I imagined that maybe one of their tech team would be paying attention to it. So naive of me, so naive.

Anyway, the final 2 days were here, and I was still unable to send my set, and so were many more that invaded the arminvanbuuren.com forums to express their frustration. Then this person showed up, that goes by the name of Ruben. He claimed that everything was fine on their servers, and that we should try again, to which we did, and again, NOTHING HAPPENED, same errors.

From this point it gets more and more ridiculous. After many more complains, Ruben shows up once more and mentions that if we’re still having problems, that we should send him a PM (forum Private Message) with a link to our sets, so he could download it and forward it to the contest. Again, we all went and did as told, but we got greeted by another error, this time we got an error message that said that Ruben’s Inbox was full. Oh well I said, maybe he got too many messages in such a small time frame, so I decided to wait.

I come back hours later to try once more, and his Inbox is still full. By this moment many have reported that his Inbox is full in the forums, and so Ruben shows up again and tells us that we should disregard that error message, cause he was still getting the messages anyway … what? … YEAH! he’d get them even if his Inbox was full. I said aaaalright, maybe the forums have some very stupid code in them, but then this crap was getting more and more evident. He wasn’t getting ANYTHING!

Again, people kept complaining (me included) that our messages weren’t getting through, and as a proof of that we mentioned that our mixes haven’t been downloaded yet (this was easily checked by server logs or the like). Ruben shows again, saying that he still got them, and if we were in doubt, that we could send the links directly to his email. And so I did.

So, last day of submissions was here, it was very early on Sunday (3-4am) and I still was awake. My mix was still not dowloaded, and I had less than 12 hours to submit it (I was at -5 GMT at the time, so midnight would be 5pm for me). I searched the forums thoroughly, trying to see if someone managed to get their mix in, but found nothing. Ruben kept insisting that he was receiving the mixes, but at this time I totally lost faith on him. The clock kept ticking, and I was getting incredibly tired, it was somewhere around 12pm when I finally gave up, and decided to try to submit the mix again through the normal method before I totally passed out, but again it failed.

Next day, I check my server logs, still no download, deadline was already way gone. Many others in the forums were reporting the same, noone was downloading their mixes, and it all seemed that we were pretty much screwed. As I kept reading, somebody found that the problem of the mix submission page was that the boxes for both the Tracklist and the About Me section were not allowing commas or apostrophes in them, such that if you included one, the whole page would fail. Too little, too late.

So what does this tell us. Clearly, whoever was organizing this, whether it was Armada or someone else close to Armin, had absolutely no clue of what they were doing, and weren’t expecting to have this big success. The contest attracted way more people than expected, Armin once mentioned that there were more than 2500 submissions, and that’s not counting those of us that failed to send it on time. For us, that couldn’t get in, we pretty much fell victims to the sucess of ASOT and Armin, there simply were too many people trying to get into it, which is both good and bad, but it was quite unrealistic to compete with so many submissions, and if that wasn’t enough, competing against a very bad infrastructure.

Anyway, to put an end to this, I’m totally and utterly MAD and frustrated at all of this. I’m mad at their organizers for not preparing for this, they claim they never expected to have so many people interested, but I wonder really, how smart do you have to be to predict that the most successful trance radio show in the planet that has more than 10k listeners on a weekly basis wouldn’t have this happened? Really, really? And in the very least, if things weren’t doing so well, how hard was it to let people know that there were CLEAR and EVIDENT issues with their submission system. I suspect, going with a mediocre mentality, that they simply didn’t care after seeing how many people were trying to get in, what gives to lose a few when they cannot figure out how to submit their mix? So what, right? We got plenty already. If that was the case, that’s simply and utterly bullshit.

I wouldn’t have minded to be told I simply couldn’t get in cause there were way too many already, I would have understood, I would have got mad for a while, but I’d have understood. Then we have this person, Ruben, who seemed to be trying to be helpful, but all he was doing was being utterly clueless, offering false hopes. Armin has him on such a high plane for helping him with the weekly broadcast, and I’m sure he’s good at it, but this was a really REALLY saddening display of incompetence.

I for one have totally lost my faith on Armada and Armin. I totally love his productions, and his radio show, but this utter crap is unacceptable, for me and for the fans. It’s true that we all can’t be happy, but for god’s sake, some professionalism wouldn’t have hurt.

This is the last time I’ll act as fan, from now on I’m just nothing but an expectator of his work. If he does good, excellent, if he does bad, excellent, too. Moving on.

Sean Tyas has a better show 😀

How to play MKV Files in Windows 7 x64?

Filed under: Technology — liam @ 7:55 pm

Well, apparently it’s not a simple task … or is it. It can be complicated until you get ahold of the right tools, cause the normal “method” (as in grabbing a single piece of software) that you can just install and make it all work doesn’t seem to exist for Windows 7 yet. If any of you can prove me wrong, please do so.

So, I’ve spent a few hours looking … ok, just one. But I figured this could help others in case you had the same problematic I’m on, as I do not like to download those “codec packs” that add more to your system than you need to. Think about it as eating a Windows 7 burger altogether when all you need is a just a small meal. Ok, that’s bad joke.

Anyway, these instructions are for the 64bit version of Windows 7. I’m not positive this can work on the x86 versions, but I have a good feel it can work on them too. Just be advised I haven’t tested it on a x86 installation, so your results may vary.

So with that said, let’s start!!!!

Things you will need:

– AC3Filter 1.63b FULL for Windows x64 from: http://ac3filter.net/
– Divx Tech Preview for Windows 7 from: http://labs.divx.com/mkvwin7preview

At the moment I wrote this, the latest version for AC3filter was 1.63b, and the tech preview of DivX for Windows 7 was still in beta. I’m sure these will remain at those versions for a while, but, shall that tech preview come out of its testing I hope you won’t need this guide anymore. Make sure you get the FULL version of AC3Filter, as this is the one that contains the files you’ll need for the x64 bit version of Windows 7.

So, anyway. You gotta install the DivX Tech Preview. I preferred to do a custom installation and just installed the MKV Splitter and nothing more, no DivX codecs, no players, etc. Just so nothing unnecessary got installed, as Windows 7 itself has its own codecs for DivX already installed. Just be advised that this little piece of software will want you to install the Google Bar crappy ass shit thing, so if you’re a bit desperate when installing things, do yourself a favour and do not click continue so fast. If you wish to install everything else that’s perfectly fine, but all you’re gonna really need from this is the MKV Splitter which is under DivX Plus DirectShow Filters.

After this, you could even uninstall the DivX Tech Preview, it won’t touch the MKV Splitter. But as it is right now, all you gonna get is Video, no Audio. The reason for this is that you also require the AC3 Filters, and that’s what the other app is for.

So, you install AC3Filter, and make *sure* that you pick the 32bit filters, you may ask why? That’s because the videos are coded in 32bit, hence why they require the 32bit version of the codec. A bit confusing, isn’t it?

After that, you’re done. With AC3Filter you should be able to play and hear your MKV files fine. Hooray! The only caveat to this is the tech preview splitters do not support subtitles … personally I do not know what that means, I have never seen MKV files with subtitles in them (I do not own that many MKV files to know for sure, so whatever).

That should be it. You should now be able to play MKV files on Windows 7, with the advantage of having hardware accelerated decoding that the DivX tech preview drivers provide.

As usual, if you got any questions, comments or noticed anything wrong in my guide, feel free to leave a message.

Pdftk not working on Ubuntu 9.10 – Fix

Filed under: Technology — Tags: — liam @ 7:07 pm

NOTE: This patch is no longer required for Ubuntu 10.04, as this problem seems to have been fixed. If you notice any errors, and you’d like to contribute, please leave a comment.

I maintain several websites where this utility is used to produce PDFs. I took the bold decision to upgrade one of my production servers to 9.10, regardless of the risks. Reason being that I rather learn to operate a new operative system, for whenever it happens that a client decides to commit the same mistake bold decisions like me.

So anyway, after the update to 9.10, Pdftk stopped working. I wasn’t really sure what the problem was after looking at the logs, so I googled around for an answer. The error I was getting was this message, whenever I tried to make a PDF with Pdftk:

glyphlist.txt loading error: glyphlist.txt not found as resource. (It must exist as resource in the package com.lowagie.text.pdf.fonts)
Helvetica not found as resource. (The *.afm files must exist as resources in the package com.lowagie.text.pdf.fonts)
Unhandled Java Exception:
ExceptionConverter: com.lowagie.text.DocumentException: Helvetica not found as resource. (The *.afm files must exist as resources in the package com.lowagie.text.pdf.fonts)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.Type1Font.(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.BaseFont.createFont(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.BaseFont.createFont(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.BaseFont.createFont(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.DocumentFont.doType1TT(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.DocumentFont.(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.AcroFields.decodeGenericDictionary(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.AcroFields.getAppearance(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.AcroFields.setField(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.AcroFields.setField(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)
at com.lowagie.text.pdf.AcroFields.setFields(itext-2.1.5.jar.so)

Basically, what this error is saying is that the itext-2.1.5 library cannot be found, even though it’s already installed. It took me quite a while to understand this exactly, apparently this error is due to a hardcoded line that wasn’t changed in the newer builds, or something to that effect. So the solution is to tell Pdftk where to find it.

I spotted the solution in this URL but the explanation was a bit obscure. The person answering there says we should edit certain files in the patches, the problem is that for common or not so-savvy people (like me) that line wasn’t quite clear enough.

So I went and investigated a bit, until I finally figured it out. Here’s the solution:

IMPORTANT NOTE

Per suggestion of people that have read my post, I’m including the next commands. These steps weren’t necessary for my installation, but some of you might need it.

apt-get install dpkg-dev
This installs the dpkg-source for source-manhandling done in the downloading step

apt-get build-dep pdftk
This ensures all the necessary pre-reqs are installed for the compilation step

Obtain the source from the Ubuntu 9.10 repositories

For this, goto a safe directory where you can work the files, it can be anywhere as long as you remember where it is. Once there, you get the source with this command:

apt-get source pdftk

This will download the source to your current directory and make it available for you to manipulate.

Applying the “fix”

Now you gotta apply the solution mentioned in the other page I mentioned earlier, which is to edit a file called set_classpath and it’s included inside yourworkingdir/pdftk-1.41+dfsg/debian/patches. To do this, use:

nano pdftk-1.41+dfsg/debian/patches/set_classpath

This is if you’re in a terminal. Either use nano or your favourite text editor.

Next, you gotta add the itext library to this file, which would usually look like this:

Description: introduce path to bcprov.jar and bcmail.jar
Author: Johann Felix Soden

--- a/pdftk/pdftk.cc
+++ b/pdftk/pdftk.cc
@@ -2655,6 +2655,10 @@
bool synopsis_b= ( argc== 1 );
int ret_val= 0; // default: no error

+ // set classpath:
+ static char my_classpath[]="CLASSPATH=/usr/share/java/bcprov.jar:/usr/share/java/bcmail.jar";
+ putenv(my_classpath);
+
for( int ii= 1; ii< argc; ++ii ) {
version_b=
(version_b ||

Notice the part where it says CLASSPATH? That’s where we have to add the itext library, by switching the line to look like this:

+ static char my_classpath[]="CLASSPATH=/usr/share/java/bcprov.jar:/usr/share/java/bcmail.jar:/usr/share/java/itext.jar";

Notice the packages are separated by colons “:”. After doing this, you gotta compile it with the next line:

apt-get -b source pdftk

NOTE: Make sure you’re NOT in another directory when using this command, you must be in the same root directory you used to download the source, otherwise you gonna end up with exactly the same faulty pdftk installation.

After the compilation process is complete, you gonna have a file named pdftk_1.41+dfsg-1_i386.deb (depending on your architecture you might have an slightly different one) which we gonna use to install the fixed pdftk package. To do this, use the next command:

dpkg -i pdftk_1.41+dfsg-1_i386.deb

After doing this, pdftk will get installed in its adequate place, and voila! Problem Solved.

If you got any questions feel free to drop a message, I’ll respond as soon as I can. Also, read the comments, a few have contributed with extra steps for other applications, as its the case with Vanguard.

Boost Brain Performance with 7 Natural Nootropics

Looking to boost your brain power naturally? Want to improve memory, focus, and mental clarity without relying on synthetic substances? Natural nootropics might be just what you need. Derived from plants and herbs, these cognitive enhancers have gained popularity for their potential benefits in enhancing brain function.

But what exactly are natural nootropics? These are substances that contain natural ingredients known for their cognitive-boosting properties. From ancient traditional medicine practices to modern-day supplements, natural nootropics have been used for centuries to support mental performance. With the rising demand for ways to enhance cognitive abilities, the use of natural nootropics is on the rise.

Discover how these natural wonders can help unlock your brain’s full potential and take your cognitive performance to new heights.

Making Informed Decisions

Understanding the potential risks associated with natural nootropics is crucial for making informed decisions about their use. While these supplements offer potential cognitive benefits, it’s essential to weigh the potential risks against the expected benefits.

Here are a few key considerations to keep in mind:

Research: Take the time to educate yourself about specific natural nootropics you are interested in trying. Look for reliable sources of information and scientific studies that support their efficacy and safety.

Start Slowly: Begin with a low dosage when introducing a new natural nootropic into your routine. This approach allows you to assess your body’s response and monitor for any adverse effects.

Quality Control: Choose reputable brands that prioritize quality control measures, such as third-party testing or certifications. This step helps ensure that you are consuming a safe and reliable product.

Personalization: Recognize that everyone’s body chemistry is unique, so what works for one person may not work for another. It may take some trial and error to find the right natural nootropic supplement that suits your needs without causing unwanted side effects.

By taking these precautions and being mindful of potential risks, you can make more informed decisions regarding the use of natural nootropics.

These tasty edibles contain full-spectrum CBD, which means they harness the power of various cannabinoids found in the hemp plant without any psychoactive effects from THC. With their ease of use and effectiveness, it’s no wonder why so many people turn to CBD gummies for relief.

Say goodbye to popping pills and hello to a more natural approach to wellness.

CBD Gummies vs. Other Pain Relief Methods

There are various options available in the market. From traditional medications to topical creams and oils, people have tried countless methods to alleviate their discomfort. However, one alternative that has gained popularity in recent years is CBD gummies. Let’s take a closer look at how CBD gummies compare to other pain relief methods.

Compared to traditional pain relief methods, CBD gummies offer a more natural alternative.

Traditional pain relief methods often involve the use of opioids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). While these medications can be effective in managing pain, they come with a range of side effects and potential risks. On the other hand, CBD gummies provide a more natural approach to pain relief.

Pros:

CBD gummies are derived from hemp plants and contain cannabidiol (CBD), which is known for its potential therapeutic properties.

These gummies offer an organic option for those seeking a natural alternative to manage their pain.

Unlike opioids or NSAIDs, CBD gummies have minimal side effects and are non-addictive.

Cons:

The effectiveness of CBD gummies may vary from person to person.

Some individuals may experience mild side effects such as dry mouth or drowsiness.

Unlike opioids or NSAIDs, CBD gummies have minimal side effects and are non-addictive.

One of the biggest concerns with traditional pain medications is their potential for addiction and abuse. Opioids, in particular, can be highly addictive and may lead to dependence if not used properly. In contrast, CBD gummies do not carry the same risk of addiction.

Pros:

CBD is not psychoactive like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), so it does not produce a “high” sensation.

There is no risk of developing a dependency on CBD gummies.

Cons:

It is important to choose high-quality CBD gummies from reputable manufacturers to ensure safety and efficacy.

CBD may interact with certain medications, so it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating them into your pain management routine.

CBD gummies can be taken discreetly and do not require a prescription like some medications.

Another advantage of CBD gummies is their convenience and accessibility. Unlike certain medications that require a prescription, CBD gummies are available over-the-counter and can be purchased without any hassle. They can be consumed discreetly without drawing attention.

Pros:

CBD gummies are easy to consume, making them suitable for individuals who have difficulty swallowing pills or capsules.

They offer a convenient option for on-the-go pain relief.

Cons:

The dosage of CBD gummies may vary depending on the brand, so it’s essential to follow the recommended guidelines provided by the manufacturer.

Some individuals may find it challenging to determine the appropriate dosage for their specific needs.

When compared to topical creams or oils, CBD gummies provide a longer-lasting effect.

Topical creams and oils are commonly used for localized pain relief. While they can provide immediate relief in specific areas, their effects tend to wear off relatively quickly. On the other hand, CBD gummies offer a more sustained effect due to their ingestion method.

Pros:

The active ingredients in CBD gummies are absorbed through the digestive system and metabolized by the liver, resulting in a longer-lasting effect.

This makes them ideal for individuals who need continuous pain relief throughout the day.

Cons:

The onset of action for CBD gummies may take longer compared to topical products since they need time to be digested and absorbed into the bloodstream.

Some people may prefer the targeted application of topical creams or oils for immediate relief in specific areas.

If you happen to know the release date, or the label they’re gonna be released on, don’t hesitate to leave a comment. Thank you.

Tracklists on the way

Filed under: General — liam @ 12:26 pm

Time to add the tracklists of each set. In the next few days I’ll complete the rest of the site by adding the tracklists to each one of the sets, accompanied with descriptions, among other things.

Just as an update, I’m currently working on a set, but I’ve ran out of “good” music, and I hate recycling my own work, so I’ll just keep digging on my sources’ list ’til I find enough tracks. Stay tuned!

Oh btw, Merry Christmas! haha.
